Meet Pete.

Pete is Dr. Peter Bsumek, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

We are Pete's friends.

For 20 years he has worn his hair like you see it in the picture. We've been trying to figure out if there's any way that he would ever cut it. Once he had shorter hair... a long time ago....

Turns out, there is a way that he will cut it.

See, Pete's a debater and a former debate coach. JMU has no debate scholarship and he would really like there to be one, and so would we. So we made him a deal... we will raise $25,000 dollars and he will cut his hair. He won't just cut it, he'll cut it five times, over five weeks, in five different styles, of our choosing.

But we need the money. It's not for us, it's for debaters, and it's a darn fine cause. We already have nearly $5,000 in pledges, help us get the rest of the way.
